A year of commercial pests in Middle Tennessee
| Season | What businesses see | What we focus on |
| Winter (Dec–Feb) | Mice and rats inside, cockroaches in warm areas | Rodent monitoring, interior service, exclusion |
| Spring (Mar–May) | Termite swarms, ants, early flies | Termite inspections, perimeter treatment, ant baiting |
| Summer (Jun–Aug) | Cockroach and fly peaks, mosquitoes, wasps, fire ants | Drain treatment, fly control, outdoor treatment |
| Fall (Sep–Nov) | Rodents moving indoors, stink bugs, lady beetles, yellow jackets | Sealing entry points, rodent programs, fall invader control |
Middle Tennessee’s warm, humid climate means pest pressure lasts longer here than in many parts of the country, so year-round programs work better than calling after a problem starts.
How to choose a commercial pest control company
Before you hire anyone, including us, ask these questions:
| Ask this | Why it matters |
| Will you inspect first and give me a written plan? | Generic packages miss your building’s real risks. |
| Can you service outside business hours? | Customers and staff shouldn’t see pest control. |
| Do you offer emergency service? | Some problems can’t wait until your next scheduled visit. |
| What documentation do I get after each visit? | You’ll need records for inspectors, auditors, and landlords. |
| Are callbacks between visits included? | Pests don’t wait for your next scheduled service. |
| Who is my point of contact? | You shouldn’t have to explain your account to a call center. |
| Are you licensed in Tennessee and insured? | Protects your business from liability. |
| Do you use integrated pest management? | IPM solves the cause instead of just spraying. |
| Can you service all my locations? | One program is simpler than several vendors. |

I have used US Pest Protection for 4 of my properties for several years now. They have done an excellent job. They take care of my concerns & requests in a timely manner. They are able to handle a 230 year old mansion that is now a bed and breakfast and all the challenges it has with 15 bedrooms, etc. I highly recommend this company.

U.S. Pest has taken care of my home since they treated the ground before we built and have been caring for us for 31 years. I am a happy customer who knows that they do the job well. Thank you!

Commercial Pest Control FAQs
How much does commercial pest control cost?
It depends on the size and type of your property, the pests involved, and how often it needs service. A small office costs much less than a food warehouse. After a free inspection, we give you a written quote with no surprises.
How often do businesses need pest control?
Many businesses do well with monthly or every-other-month service. High-risk facilities like restaurants, food warehouses, and healthcare often need more frequent visits. We recommend a schedule after inspecting your property.
What happens during a commercial inspection?
A specialist checks your building inside and out, including entry points, utility lines, loading docks, breakrooms, restrooms, storage, and waste areas, looking for pest activity, moisture, and gaps. Then we give you a written plan.
Can you service outside business hours?
Yes. We schedule service before opening, after close, overnight, or on weekends, so your customers and staff never see us.
Do you offer emergency pest control?
Yes. Our 24-hour emergency service responds when you find a problem that can’t wait, like before a health inspection, audit, or event. Call 615-757-6710.
Do you provide documentation for inspections and audits?
Yes. Every visit ends with a written report. We also provide device maps, trend reports, and product information for accounts that need them.
Are your treatments safe for employees and customers?
Yes. We use integrated pest management, with targeted treatments in cracks, crevices, and bait stations instead of broad spraying, and we service when people aren’t present.
Do you service businesses with multiple locations?
Yes. We can cover all your Middle Tennessee locations under one program, with consistent service, reporting by location, and one point of contact.
What if pests come back between visits?
Call us. Callbacks between scheduled visits are included under our Whatever It Takes Guarantee.
Do you offer termite protection for commercial buildings?
Yes. We provide termite inspections and protection for commercial properties. Call 615-757-6710 to schedule an inspection.
Who leads your commercial division?
James Hawkins, our Regional Commercial General Manager, has more than 20 years with U.S. Pest Protection and oversees all commercial accounts, audits, and large facilities.
How do we get started?
Call our commercial office at 615-757-6710 or schedule a free site inspection. We’ll walk your property, explain what we find, and give you a written plan and price.
