Moisture Pests

Rodents

Ticks and late-summer wasps & yellowjackets
West Meade directly borders more than 2,000 contiguous acres of Percy Warner and Edwin Warner Parks, and the Burch Reserve trailhead sits inside the neighborhood itself, so tick exposure here runs higher than in Nashville neighborhoods without that direct woodland border. Ticks ride in easily on pets and pant cuffs after a walk on the trails. By August, wasp and yellowjacket nests reach full size on decks and eaves throughout the neighborhood’s wooded backyards. Both are seasonal, predictable, and very treatable when you stay ahead of them.
