Wondering what it takes to be a beekeeper or sharpen up your beekeeping skills?

Save the date and come on out to the Tennessee Honey Festival September 8th at Hendersonville Memorial Park!

Jay Williams of Williams Honey Farm will be presenting
an overview of what it takes to be a successful beekeeper in Tennessee! Educate yourself on the fascinating world of beekeeping, honey production and saving our local Tennessee Honey Bees. A special presentation will also be given on raising and managing solitary bees!

Williams Honey Farm has been producing raw treatment free honey since 2008. They first started with 2 hives and quickly found it to be an addiction. Williams Honey Farm is passionate about raising healthy, happy honeybees and treat them like they are part of the family. Throughout the years they have managed hundreds of colonies in many locations. They have attended multiple trainings and worked with beekeepers from Italy to New Zealand. Although they are continually learning every day, Williams Honey Farm has been lucky enough to mentor countless new beekeepers, hold beekeeping intensive schools and workshops, and cultivate new “Polleneers”. Their honey has won national awards, been featured in multiple national magazines and even enjoyed by 3 past US presidents!

Bring your family and friends to The Tennessee Honey Festival for an educational and fun-filled day to learn about the importance of bees and other pollinators in Tennessee.
